Japan Earthquake & Tsunami Service, St Patrick’s National Cathedral, Dublin, 11 April 2011, 7 p.m.
The Japanese Community in Dublin in association with Dublin City Council and St. Patrick’s Cathedral will hold an event to commemorate the victims of the Tohoku Earthquake & Tsunami and to provide an opportunity for people to show Ireland’s solidarity with Japan.
The event will take place in St. Patrick’s Cathedral on Monday 11th April 2011 at 7pm, and will take the form of a multi-denominational civic event with readings and music.
‘Experience Japan’ a key group preparing a celebration of Japanese culture in Dublin in April 2011 is the main organiser of the event.
A special account to collect contributions for Earthquake and Tsunami Relief has been established. Any donations in support of Earthquake and Tsunami Relief will go in its entirety to organisations carefully selected for their active efforts in earthquake and tsunami relief and recovery in Japan.
