Archbishop Eames offers condolances to Bishop Frank Griswold

Archbishop Eames offers condolances to Bishop Frank Griswold, presiding Bishop of ECUSA, in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina

To Most Reverend Frank T Griswold, presiding Bishop and Primate of the Episcopal Church of the USA:

Dear Frank,

On behalf of the Church of Ireland I extend to you and all your colleagues our deepest sympathy as the full impact of the situation in the Southern states becomes plain. We have watched with immense concern and horror the scenes in New Orleans and elsewhere. We can well imagine the problems facing clergy and laity in the stricken area. We pray for all those who are suffering such hardship and we gladly offer any practical assistance you may feel appropriate.

May God bless the efforts at relief and on-going rescue.

Yours very sincerely,

+ Robin.
