Between Wednesday 11 August to Sunday 15 August 15 the city of Abuja was the venue for a gathering of Anglican Youth, 'Abuja AYF 2004'.

The theme of the conference 'Living By Faith' (Daniel 3:17) provided an opportunity for the young and the young at heart to learn and demonstrate Christian behaviour in every facet of human life, said a release on the Church of Nigeria (Anglican Communion) web site.

"It also underscored the motto of the Fellowship which is 'Towards the Perfect Man' (Ephesians 4: 13)," said the release, "by training individual members to useful service for the church, the community and the Nation at large."
